Following the craze of DeFi and animal coins within a year, the baton was passed down to GameFi in the late summer of 2021. The “play to earn” boom brings together once-irrelevant DeFi, NFT, and game to create a new concept — GameFi.

In 2020, the “Year One of DeFi”, DeFi projects of all kinds swept the coin community, and in 2021, NFT was favored by major players overnight. The success of DeFi and NFT made possible the rise of GameFi. What is GameFi? In simple words, it brings together Game and DeFi, allowing financial realization in the game. Or more simply, it makes games a DeFi project, with game props becoming NFT assets. That means players can play to earn money.

MOBOX that we are going to introduce today is one popular GameFi project. Since its launch in April 2021, it has received growing attention from players along with the NFT and “Play to Earn” boom. Its recent performance is almost dazzling.

MOBOX is an innovative GameFi platform that combines DeFi yield farming and NFT gaming. It aims to lower the barrier for traditional gamers and non-crypto users to enter the market. This vision is also shared by the MOBOX team.

To put it simply, MOBOX is a decentralized gaming platform that fuses the hottest DeFi and NFT. Players are empowered by financial mechanisms and game systems to create a unique and lasting ecosystem where they can play for free and make easy money. It is a rare example of a comprehensive blockchain platform that can take advantage of both DeFi and NFT. To engage more users, MOBOX has also developed a full suite of decentralized tools and a well-functioning smart contract ecosystem. Digital currency, DeFi, NFT, and games are perfectly integrated here, and users are free to choose from yield farming, NFT design and creation, coin trading, game development, and socializing.

MOBOX enhances the entertainment of the platform and the participation of players by distributing MBOX, the native token of MOBOX. Obtained from NFT staking or platform games, MBOX tokens can be used as the in-game currency, and also for MOBOX platform governance, staking, NFT blind boxes, and NFT auctions, etc.

MOBOX has launched three games: MOMO Farmer, Token Master, and Trade Action.

MOMO Farmer is a yield farming (also known as liquidity farming) game. Players can stake their coins, such as USDT, BTC, ETH, or MBOX to provide liquidity in exchange for MBOX airdrops on the platform. In addition, players can also obtain MBOX through the yield farming game of MOMO Farmer.

MOMO Farmer roughly goes as follows:

1. Users obtain the KEY, the products of MOMO Farmer’s yield farming which are either generated through stake mining or purchased on the market, to open the Chest (which can only be open with the KEY) ;

2. Each time a Box is open, users can get an NFT, and each KEY can be used to unlock a Box, thus minting a MOMO NFT on the Binance Smart Chain.

Here we need to talk about the second game of MOMO Farmer: MOMO, where gamers buy a unique NFT character on the platform, which has six levels: Common, Uncommon, Unique, Rare, Extraordinary, and Legendary. Each level has a corresponding hash rate range that can be upgraded. With MOMO, you will be endowed with hash rate, with which mining rewards will be obtained easily;

3. Different Boxes (MOMO NFTs) correspond to different hash rates. The best quality that a gamers can achieve by raffling a Box is orange (that is, the Extraordinary Quality. Legendary Quality cannot be obtained by raffling Boxes), the hash rate of which will be a random number from 50 to 120. The higher the hash rate, the easier it is to get upgraded. MOMO’s NFT Box mechanism sets an open and transparent way of random raffle;

4. Since MOMO Farmer is based on Binance Smart Chain, players need to use BNB as the gas fee for operations in the game.

The MOMO NFTs owned by players in MOMO Farmer will also be mapped to the second game on the platform, “Token Master”, which contains Monopoly and competitive PvP. We won’t go into details here as they are difficult for beginners.

Starting by staking their tokens, players will then go through the following steps: yield farming for KEYs, raffling boxes with the KEY for NFTs, and staking NFTs for MBOX. Every step offers a new game and new choices for players. For example, the KEY obtained through mining can not only be used to open Boxes for NFTs, but also can be sold on the market, while the obtained NFTs can either be traded on the MOBOX platform or be used to acquire platform currency MBOX through stake mining.

The multiple steps to obtain MBOX tokens not only enhance the entertainment of the MOBOX platform but also contribute to the stability of MBOX by increasing the difficulty of generating MBOX.

It is reported that Block Brawler, the fourth game on MOBOX, is coming soon, which is more anticipated by players. MBOX is now available on multiple trading platforms such as Gate.io, Binance, and CoinEx. MBOX has blazed a trail in the industry, and let’s look forward to its future performance with the rise of GameFi.
